A female police officer who punched a 15-year-old girl in the head after the teenager spat at her at a pro-marijuana rally has been found to have used reasonable force and been cleared of wrongdoing.

The girl was arrested for drug possession at the 420 rally in Flagstaff Gardens in April last year. A large crowd of marijuana enthusiasts surrounded five officers as they held the screaming girl to the ground.
