Jeremy King

Principal
Jeremy joined Robinson Gill in 2006 after graduating from Monash University with degrees in Law and Arts. He has a Masters of Law at Utrecht University in the Netherlands specialising in human rights and criminal justice. He is also a member of the Transport Accident Committee of the Law Institute of Victoria, the Australian Lawyers Alliance State Committee, the TAC Protocols Working Group, the TAC Legislative Working Group, the TAC Joint Medical Examination Reference Group and TAC Legal Liaison Group.

Danielle Meyer

Principal
Danielle graduated from Monash University with degrees in Law and Arts. After being admitted to practice, she moved to Taiwan for 15 months to teach English, study Mandarin Chinese and see more of the world. She returned to Melbourne and joined Robinson Gill in 2008. She specialises in the area of Personal Injury Law and can assist with transport accidents, workplace injuries and public liability claims.

Yusur Al-Azzawi

Lawyer
Yusur graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Melbourne in 2015 and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Monash University. While studying, Yusur worked with the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and Flemington and Kensington Community Legal Centre and remains engaged with refugee law and police accountability matters. Yusur also worked on various projects in mental health policy, disability policy, education and the Australian criminal justice system and is a passionate social justice advocate.

Ali Besiroglu

Lawyer
Ali graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University in 2012 after completing a Bachelor of Social Science. Ali has extensive court advocacy experience, appearing regularly in almost every Magistrates’ Court across metropolitan and regional Victoria, as well as the Melbourne County Court. He has instructed in trials in the County and Supreme Courts including appeals in the Court of Appeal. Prior to commencing at Robinson Gill he was a senior lawyer at the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service, where he developed a strong practice in criminal law.

Nick Boag

Lawyer
Nick graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the Australian National University (ANU) in 2008 and also holds a Masters of Law from ANU and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne. Nick first joined Robinson Gill in 2013 before working at the Police Accountability Project at the Flemington & Kensington Community Legal Centre and then as a Judge’s Associate at the County Court of Victoria. Nick rejoined Robinson Gill in 2018 and specialises in Police Misconduct and other personal injury matters. Nick is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria’s Administrative Law & Human Rights Committee.
